Quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001
Peter Greven GmbH & Co. KG was one of the first medium-sized companies to recognize the enormous importance of a systematically established QM system for the company. The emphasis in the introduction and further development of the system lies in the involvement of the employees and the consistent introduction of EDP solutions for the individual management tasks. The certification of our QM system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 by the German Society for the Certification of Management Systems (DQS) in 1994 was recognition of our customer-oriented efforts.
Since then, DQS has continuously re-examined all areas of Peter Greven GmbH & Co. KG continuously and has always come to the conclusion that the high quality standards according to DIN EN ISO 9001 continue to be optimally fulfilled. For the company's customers the guarantee to receive verifiable and constant quality at any time.
Environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001
In 1994, Peter Greven GmbH & Co. KG was one of the first medium-sized chemical companies to introduce a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) officially established the international standards for environmental management systems. Since then, ISO 14001 has been used internally and externally as the basis for so-called environmental audits, in which the effectiveness and implementation of environmental management systems in companies are assessed.
On the one hand, environmental management systems require compliance with legal regulations, particularly with regard to environmental aspects in all activities. On the other hand, however, they also require voluntary commitments to continuously improve environmentally relevant processes. The main focus here is on clear organizational structures and procedures, trained and environmentally aware personnel, and open internal and external information on corporate environmental protection.
Since then, the German Society for the Certification of Management Systems (DQS) has continuously assessed all areas of Peter Greven GmbH & Co. KG the effectiveness and implementation of the introduced environmental management system.
