EU Ecolabel for Further PGP Products

We are pleased that our products STEPHALEN OPTIWASH in 1000 ml and 2000 ml collapsible bottles as well as ECOSAN in 500 ml and 1000 ml hard bottles have been awarded the EU Ecolabel. In 2016, we received the first EU Ecolabel certification for one of our products; since then, additional products from our skin cleansing and skin care ranges have been certified. The EU Ecolabel is recognized in the EU as well as in Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, and Turkey, and serves as a reliable reference for consumers looking for sustainable and environmentally friendly products.
Sustainability has already played a central role for us for many years. As a result, over 90 percent of the ingredients we use now come from renewable sources. In addition, we have already switched a large proportion of our packaging to recycled materials in order to further reduce resource consumption and actively promote the circular economy.

Special Skin Care in Winter

During the winter season our skin is particularly stressed. Low temperatures reduce the production of lipids by the sebaceous glands. Without this protective lipid layer, water evaporates more quickly from the skin's surface. The low humidity at cold temperatures and the dry air in overheated rooms further promote evaporation. The skin becomes increasingly dry and chapped, which can weaken its natural barrier function and makes it susceptible to mechanical, physical, chemical, and bacterial influences.
Appropriate skin care is now particularly important. People with dry skin should use creams providing the skin with moisture and lipids and apply those creams regularly. PHYSIODERM CREME and GREVEN CREME C, for example, are particularly recommended. Both of these skin care creams increase the skin's ability to retain water and support the regeneration of the acid mantle. PHYSIODERM CUREA offers a special feature: due to its composition and physical properties, the cream's lamellar emulsion base ensures a low wash-out effect and maintains the barrier structure of the skin. It can also support the long-term regeneration in case of abrasion dermatosis or eczema.

That was A+A 2025

With 67,000 visitors, 2,340 exhibitors from 70 countries, and an international participation rate of 52 percent, the official figures from Messe Düsseldorf GmbH underline the importance of A+A 2025. For us, the exhibition was a great success: we had lots of valuable conversations, strengthened existing partnerships, and made many new contacts. We were particularly pleased that our topics related to sustainability in occupational skin care, our new VARIOMAT PRO dispensing system, the relaunch of our skin care plan configurator, and our PHYSIODERM, GREVEN, DREUMEX, and MYXAL brands were well received.
