Certified Products
Certifications such as the EU Ecolabel and the BLUE ANGEL eco-label identify skin cleansing products that stand out for their particular sustainability. As voluntary labels, the criteria of the ecolabels go far beyond the legal requirements in terms of environmental compatibility.
EU Ecolabel
The EU Ecolabel shows a stylized flower with a blossom of twelve stars enclosing the Greek letter "e" for Europe. This is why the EU Ecolabel is also called the Euroflower. The European Commission awards the coveted label to products and services that have a lower impact on the environment than comparable products. The EU Ecolabel is recognized in all EU member states as well as in Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Turkey. Thus, the Euroflower is a reference throughout Europe for consumers who want to promote sustainable production and environmentally friendly products.
Blue Angel
The Blue Angel eco-label is normally awarded primarily to products from the consumer sector. Cosmetic products, such as shampoo, soap or shower gel, can be awarded. The Blue Angel - the German government's environmental label - has been independently and credibly setting demanding standards for environmentally friendly, healthy as well as durable products and services since 1978. The Blue Angel is Germany's best-known environmental label. With the Blue Angel, we can credibly demonstrate our environmental commitment and our product responsibility, and thus clearly distinguish ourselves from competitors.
ECOSAN®
ECOSAN® is a neutral cleansing syndet (synthetic detergent) which is free from perfume, fragrances and colorants. Since it is HACCP-compliant, ECOSAN® is also suitable for the food industry. ECOSAN® is a soap- and alkali-free syndet for thorough and gentle skin cleansing in case of removing light dirt. Similar to the human skin, the product has a slightly acid pH value. The high-quality surfactants in ECOSAN® have excellent skin compatibility. ECOSAN® in 1000 ml Neptune Bottles and 2000 ml Collapsible Bottles have been awarded the BLUE ANGEL environmental label as well as the EU Ecolabel.
GREVEN® SOFT U ECO
GREVEN® SOFT U ECO is especially suitable for the removal of heavy and extreme dirt e.g. from grease, oil, metallic dust, graphite or soot. The product contains natural scrubbing agents made of olive seed powder. Due to the low specific weight, clogging of drains and pipes is almost impossible. The 2000 ml Collapsible Bottle has been awarded the EU Ecolabel.
STEPHALEN® FRESH FOAM
STEPHALEN® FRESH FOAM is a slightly perfumed foam concentrate which is free from soaps and alkali and which has a skin-neutral pH value. The nurturing ingredient glycerin maintains the skin’s moisture and prevents it from drying out. STEPHALEN® FRESH FOAM has been awarded the EU Ecolabel.
